Accepted to Pratt BFA Industrial Design w/ 60K Scholarship

Another student from our Undergraduate Portfolio Prep course has been accepted to Pratt BFA Program !

The student, like many other students in our Undergraduate Portfolio Prep course, did not have a lot of previous art experience but wanted to pursue an art degree to become a designer.
Even if you are in high school, an art college portfolio is not something you can easily build without any thorough guidance; so it doesn’t get any easier if you are not in school and trying to build or strengthen your portfolio for good art schools that you might have in mind. The student belonged to the latter case where she graduated from high school and needed art classes to work on her college admission portfolio.

At New York Art Studio, the student worked on projects and prompts that provoked conceptual thought processes, along with drawing/painting techniques as the fundamentals. You can check some of her accepted works below:
