NYART’s All Ages Art Program trains students of all ages in art and design by providing one-on-one instruction, taught by our diverse group of internationally recognized faculty and staff. The objective of this program is to provide an inspiring learning environment for all ages, regardless of the level of experience. Through the All Ages Art Program, students can acquaint themselves with the foundational skills and/or further strengthen and develop their techniques and skills.

Our classes are year-round and accept students on a rolling basis.

ADULT ART COURSE

Our Adult Art Course is great for anyone who would like to explore a variety of approaches to visual arts with different mediums.

In the course, students can either focus on a specific field of choice or mixed media projects that will help foster fundamental techniques and skills often adopted in traditional and/or experimental art-making.

TEEN ART CLASS

Our Teen Art Course covers a variety of topics and mediums for a student at any level to explore. In a creative and cozy studio environment with a small class size, our Adult Art Course hopes to inspire students to discover their artistic and creative potential with exposure to various visual art techniques and the usage of mediums.

Available course subjects are traditional drawing, painting, basic sculpture with clay/wood, mixed media, and more.

Since all students work individually with curricula devised for their own individual objectives and interests, they can get the most of the program by either focusing on a specific theme/medium or exploring various mediums and subject matters.

Drawing Class

Adult Art Class trains students basic drawing skills, techniques in an assortment of mediums and genres. The class is individually tailored to the specific needs of students, regardless of past art experience and skill level. The class introduces various approaches in drawing over a long course of art history: line, still life, portrait, landscape, modern techniques, etc. Some mediums used will include graphite, charcoal, color pencils, etc.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Painting Class

Adult Painting Class familiarizes students with various painting mediums, such as acrylic and watercolors. From the beginner to the advanced, the class curricula may be adjusted to accommodate every student’s unique objectives. From uncovering the mystery of colors (color theory), to composing your vision on canvas (composition and structure!) to advanced, modern application of painting methods (new media and more), the class aims to equip students with fundamentals, while challenging them to break out of the box.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Mixed Media Class

The Mixed Media class is an all the more fun and invigorating course in which students explore a variety of mediums, working methods and styles to create works that generate multifaceted conversations. The course combines traditional and experimental approaches to image-making that touch on a long span of modern art history. With our instructors’ creative push, the class inspires students to be more challenging and risk-taking in both the execution and conceptualization of art-making.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]

Fashion Illustration Class

The class focuses on how to illustrate garments on figures in fashion design. Design Class

The class focuses on design theories and methodology. Students will learn the basics of design and how to apply them in practice with their own creative twist. The class will stress issues in designing space, 2d and/or 3d, and integrating ideas into products for effective communication. Private Lessons

NYART provides Private Lessons for adults. During the whole duration of a lesson, the student will work with our instructor, one-on-one and in a focused and attentive environment. The lessons cover all genres of art and are scheduled at the student’s convenience. Our Children Art Course is developed so that young artists can start building solid art foundations and the creative thought process for artmaking from an early age. Students will explore traditional drawing mediums and experimental/expressive use of such and learn how to visualize their creative visions.
